Congratulations!

You have now worked through all the steps to create your own windswept pine. Print out a copy of your certificate as a reminder of what you have been able to accomplish.

When you started this project, you probably had very little experience working with cheesecloth. I hope that while you worked on this first piece you began to think about other ways cheesecloth could be incorporated into the kinds of fiber art you create.

Lots of subject from nature lend themselves to the kind of texture cheesecloth can portray: trees, hedges, grasses, and animals like horses, dogs, cats, and even lions and tigers and bears, oh my!

I hope you have enjoyed this workshop and will send me a photo of your completed artwork so other students can see the exciting possibilities.  And when you are ready to challenge yourself some more, Cheesecloth 102 will take you to the next level as you explore the possibilities of using cheesecloth for portraiture! Hope to see you there!
